Civilian Game UASF Nine Tonight The Hill Field Army Bombers defeated the Naval Supply Marines by the close margin of 5 to 4, Sun day, thus placing the team second in the Ogden Service League. Coffin's magnificent throwing arm was responsible for stopping the Naval Supply in the last half of the ninth. With bases loaded and two away, Lt. Pickens' boy shot one down to Verdonckt on third to stop a Marine runner. Hill Field's Dorgan lost all traces of his earlier Inconsistencies and struck out eight men, letting only four men by. He gave, up seven hits, although keeping them well scattered, and his lag in the sixth inning resulted in a run which nearly beat him.
