Now imagine you're dancing on the patio or inside the Fighter Gallery at the Hill Aerospace Museum to Glen Miller big band era music and 70s, 80s, 90s and current musical hits. You've listened to a great presentation by motivational speaker Dan Clark and enjoyed a nice meal provided by The Landing. All of this can be yours if you attend the Air Force Ball on Sept. 7, after purchasing your tickets and reserving your meal choice through an RSVP. Guy See BALL I page 6 All Pre-deployments in Building 900 MARY LOU GORNY/Hilltop Times USA Jobs will resume in October. 388th EMS Munitions Inventory announced In accordance with AFI 21-201 an inventory of all munitions on the base stock record for the 388th Fighter Wing will occur Sept. 4-30. This inventory will not affect the daily flying schedule for Hill Air Force Base. Munitions customers will not be issued munitions or be able to turn in munitions during this closed warehouse inventory. Emergency issues will be available ff it meets all the requirements in Air Force Instruction 21-201 paragraph 7.13.2.3. This inventory will not affect munitions already issued to a munitions account. It will also not affect assets courtesy stored within the munitions storage area. After the inventory and reconciliation, the munitions flight will resume normal operations. For more information, contact Munitions Accountability at 801777-0329. 649th Munition Squadron inventory The 649th Munition Squadron will be conducting 100 percent inventories of the Base (FV2027), Test (FV2171), and STAMP (FV2304) stockpiles from Sept. 3 through Sept. 28. All Base, Test, and STAMP customers requiring munitions support during this timeframe must deliver the applicable documentation to the Custody Accounts section no later than Tuesday, Aug. 14. During the inventories, the only transactions that will be supported are emergency requests approved in writing by the group commander or equivalent. Please direct any questions to Staff Sgt. LLOYD/U.S. Air Force Command Chief Master Sgt. Michael Warner, of the Air Force Materiel Command, speaks at the Senior NCO Induction Ceremony at Hill Air Force Base on July 27. The ceremony inducted approximately 60 master sergeants into the senior NCO Corps. Warner talked about the role of leadership as a master sergeant. Raptors vs Rockies at Lindquist Field Aug. 10 T he Raptors Hill Apprciation Night is Friday, August 10, in Ogden. Col. Scott Long, 388th Fighter Wing commander, will be throwing out the first pitch. This annual event is graciously provided by theTop of Utah Military Affairs Corn- mittee and the Ogden Raptors organization. General admission tickets can be picked up in the 75th Public Affairs Office in Building 180, Room 109. The Raptors will be hosting the Grand Junction Rockies in Pioneer League competition; play begins at 7 p.m. rig. Gen. H. Brent Baker Sr., Ogden Air Logistics Complex commander, congratulated five people who received scholarships from a professional organization associated with the base, July 31 at The Landing. The Logistics Officers Association awarded Airman 1st Class Jeric Hernandez, a scholarship in the amount of $1,250, for his paper written on the topic, "Logistics Readiness." In the high school category, there were three levels of winners. Joshua Wilding took first place for his paper on "Operation: Phantom Fury" and received a scholarship check in the amount of $900. Veronica Doumit, took second, as she addressed "Operation Vittles: The Berlin Airlift," and received $550. Breanne DeMar addressed "The Persian Gulf War," and took home a check for $200.
