Show HILLTOP TIMES TIME S 11 June 28, 2012 NEWS BRIEFS `F' Street closes for waterline project Fly over A construction project in support of the new SFS/OSI Building 408 has closed "F" Street south of Wardleigh Road, through Friday, July 29 at 5 p.m. This is a full road closure due to the digging across "F" Street in two sections. For questions or concerns, please contact Jim Ingold at 801-777-2288. 260 annual steam outage July 29-31 The annual steam outage for the 260 distribution system will be July 29-31, beginning at midnight Friday, July 29. It will end midnight Saturday, July 31. The steam outage is planned in conjunction with Davis County burn plant so that repairs can be made on the boiler plant while all steam is off. There will be no steam for those facilities that have steamgenerated hot water or use steam in an industrial capacity. Those facilities affected will include the following: Buildings 100, 133, 134, 141, 142, 146, 150, 180, 214, 220, 230, 233, 236, 237, 238, 256, 257, 260, 265, 270, 287, 295, 503, 505, 507, 508, 509, 510, 511, 512, 514, 515, 575, 576, 577, 578, 589, 590, 591, 592, 593, 594, 596, 597 and 598. Building 230, the Base Restaurant has its own boiler and it will b run July 29 if necessary. The outage will begin at midnight July 28 and end at midnight July 29. Steam vault work to close 'D' Avenue A steam vault installation project will affect "D" Avenue TODD CROMAR/U.S. Air Force A four-ship, F-16 Fighting Falcon flyover at Layton Commons Park, Sounds of Freedom event, June 2, 2012 led by 4th Fighter Squadron Commander Lt. Col. Tang Sabia. near Buildings 519 and 525 requiring excavation of "D" Avenue and the main entryway to 525 to install new concrete vaults and new steam and condensate piping. Starting approximately Aug. 4 and continuing through Aug.10, "D" Avenue and 525 entry will be closed.
