The 75th Civil Engineer Squadron Utility Shop is conducting annual fire hydrant flow testing through May 17 for the main base water system including Wardleigh Road, 6th Street, and Balmer Street. These areas include: all base housing areas, all AAFES and DECA facilities, and West Area facilities, 11005, 1200s and 1500s. Additionally, the Munitions Storage areas will be flushed and tested. Facilities adjacent to the areas where fire hydrants are being flushed and tested may experience temporary periods of discolored water. Please allow faucets to flush for several minutes to clear if your facility experiences discolored water. Additionally, please use caution when driving vehicles near testing areas and avoid flowing and standing water. The site provides all the latest information for visitors interested in attending the event. In addition to an Open House countdown clock, the site also includes an Open House overview, information on static displays, aerial performers, key contact personnel and a list of items that are prohibited from bringing on base. The two-day event themed "Warriors over the Wasatch a Legacy of Valor," will take place the Memorial Day weekend May 26-27 . Hill hosts Air Force outstanding F-35 hearings held golf program with Hubbard By 419TH FIGHTER WING Public Affairs BY KATINA L. VENTURA Hilltop Times staff T ony Angelico, director of the Hill AFB Hubbard Golf Course is honored as he reflects on the proud history of awards and accolades the course has consistently received. In March, Hubbard was named as the most outstanding golf program out of the entire Air Force, competing with 66 bases. This is the second time the Hubbard Golf Course has received this award; they first received it in 2009. Hubbard has received many accolades over the years. In 2011 they were recognized as the Air Force Golf Program of the year. According to Angelico, "What sets us apart is the condition of our golf course.
