Show HILLTOP TIMES TIMES ij April 29, 2010 COMPETITIVE EDGE At left, Paul Fomby hits a ball from the tee for the hitting portion of the Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run contest at Hill Air Force Base held at the Little League Field on April 24. Youth Center Little League season has begun and players are dusting off their mitts, donning their baseball caps and practicing their moves as they play other teams in the Youth League. The contest was held after the last two teams squared off in league play. Above, Garry Navas, Hill Air Force Base Youth Sports and Fitness director, explains the rules for the hitting portion.
