Peterson' Personnel Division The Manpower and Personnel Civilian Career Program career group consists of seven "career families." They are: Technical Training, Civilian Personnel, Manpower, Social Actions, Education Services, Military Personnel and Morale Welfare and Recreation. Only the Civilian Personnel portion is currently operational. Now, a concentrated effort is being made to register employees in three .. " additional areas. This article covers in-- ; formation pertaining to the areas being added and gives registration instructions. Central coverage of the following career executive positions will begin Jan. r Services 1, 1983: T Education Specialists, grades Officers and through GS-1- 1 GM-1- 5. Base MWR Officers and MWR ICareer Program Administrators, grades GS-1through GM-12 3. Base and Assistant Base Librarians and Library Service Center Librarians, GS-1- 1 and GS-1Registration for the above positions starts Monday and remains open thereafter. Employees not registered by Dec. 31, 1982 will not be considered 2. 5 O for vacancies occurring in early January 1983. If so, the balance may be claimed by entering the expenses and the amount of reimbursement on the ex-itemi- ze Form 3903. Ah adjustment also may be claimed for costs of terminating and a residence. This includes sales commissions, title and escrow fees, attorney's fees, and costs to settle an unexpired lease or buy a new lease. Moving expenses filed as adjust ments to income must not include reimbursements or PCS payments made by the Air Force to the military member and his or her dependents. The total moving expense adjustment may not exceed $3,000 per move. IRS pamphlet number 521, describing moving costs, is available from the Internal Revenue Service. A moving checklist available at the Outbound Assignments Section of the base Personnel Office is a valuable aid in keeping a record of moving expenses.
