They also must be known and understood by those who come in contact with them. Here are a few official abbrevia rs Now Hear This The above sign, displayed in the main civilian parking lot, baa puzzled many Hill employees. They're wondered about the spelling on the first "here" in the sign. Many a grammarian has called Security to point out the correct word is "hear" not "here. Security always plays coy when they receive the calls and won't admit that they or Installation's painters aren't good spellers which leads one to wonder if they did it on purpose to attract attention.
