To be held on the new tennis courts west of the base gymnasium, the tournament will feature both singles and doubles competition. The elimination type tourna ment will run approximately 10 days to two weeks depending on the number of entrants. Games will beerin each day shortly after 4 p.m. Awards will be given to the winners of both the doubles and singles matches, and a team trophy will be given to the squadron which has the highest placing of any two of its entrants. Also, General's Cup points will be awarded on the results of the tournament. This year's" base tennis team will be chosen from the winners of the tournament with the top two double's teams and the top four single's comprising the team. The tournament is open to all military personnel on the base. Anyone interested in entering can do so bv contacting his squadron headquarters. There is no limit to the number of men that a squad ron can enter. 4P.S. This was based on the combined score of any two of its entrants. The Air Base Wing was runner up with 521.
