Tests Given to 22 Young Hopefills For AF Academy Air Force young hopefuls from a five state area were at Hill Air Force Base this week for four days of final qualifying exams, both men tal and physical, for possible en trance into the new Academy. This group, hailing from Utah Idaho, Wyoming. Oregon, and Nevada, is the largest of the seven groups to take exams at Hill AFB during the fiscal year of 1956. The boys, ranging in age from 17 to 22, are selected for apointment tnrough several different methods, and then go through a series of qualifying tests before final ap pointment to the academy. Hill Air Force Base is one of 32 examing centers in the United States. .
