The Airframes team moved into third spot percentagewise, al though a postponed match with the Voodoos may change this position noticeably. High individual series for the evening went to Wayne Bybee with a fine 567 total with Jack Bridge- man two pins behind and 565. Individual game honors belonged to Ben Yaunt with 21S while second place closed in a tie between Jack Bridgeman and Frank Wilson with 215. TEAM STANDINGS (Including Games as of January Young Military Bowlers Presented Awards In Mail Bowling Tourney Young Hill AFB bowlers were spotlighted by the OOAMA recently when Maj. Gen. Tillery presented trophies to of a bowling tourney held at the base alleys . last December. "Mail-O-Mati- c" sponored by the American Bowling Congress, compared scores of individual bowlers in junior leagues all over the U. S. Winners of. the national competition will be announced by ABC next month. Consisting of two divisions at Hill, "Bamtams" and "Juniors," the boys and girls, 50 in number, range in age from 10 to 17. All are dependents of base military Mail-O-Mati- c, personnel. Held 19 through 22 December the competition determined winners in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events in both divisions. Other awards included most scorer in all improved bowler,-hig- h events, and high game. Junior division trophy winners were ' George Rogers, all events; Eddie Miller, singles boys; Laura Christopher, singles girls; George Rogers and Buddy Deloach, doubles boys; Phil Fellows and Carol Chavarie, mixed doubles; Nancy Hel-se- r, most improved bowler and all events; and Mary Chavarie and Barbara Brooks, doubles girls. Bamtam winners were Robert Harcrow, all events; Shelton Post, singles boys; Vicki Branner, singles girls; Joe and Jerry Becker, doubles boys; Vicki Branner and Barbara Beucus, doubles girls; Robert Harcrow and Barbara Beucus, mixed doubles; Pat Johnson, most improved bowler; and Mary Ann Clark, all events. High game went to Carol Ann Chavarie, Junior Division, with a score of 179 and Shelton Post, Bamtam, with a score of 172. The youngsters will next enter the Jr. "Silver Key" tourney to be held in Salt Lake Citv on Feb e ruary 4.
