Col. Fred C. Johnson, Base Commander. The new manager is Richard G. Severin, a native of Salem, Oregon. He replaces Palmer Larsen who resigned a short time ago to enter government service. Mr. Severin is a former real estate and insurance broker in Salem. At one time he owned his own agency the Severin Realty Co. The new manager has also handled large apartment units and business properties in Oregon-M- r. Severin and his wife Cecelia will make their home at the Wherry project .They have five children four girls and one son. The son is Captain Richard I.
