Miss Hill AFB Named Attendant To Miss Ogden Miss Hill Air Force Base of 1055 carried this base's colors into the Miss Ogden Pageant last week and was named one of the top beauties oi the show. Miss Lenis Christensen, who was crowned Miss Hill AFB in a recent beauty contest held at the base, was presented a loving cup at the Ugden show naming her second attendant to the new Miss Og den, Miss Nancy Fowles. Other attendant chosen at the contest was Miss Ann Knight. Miss Christensen, who is a stenographer in base communications. was a wonderful representative for Hill AFB as she "strutted her stuff" in evening dress and bath ing suit. She captured the hearts of the judges as well as the audience with her humorous reading oi "Buzy." Anotner mimeider played a starring role in the gala Miss Ogden show held at the Hich School. He was A2C Jerry Tony Amoroso who officiated as master of ceremony. In addition to the caeeant. Tonv. who is Oe-rie- em-ceei- ne also a talented baritone, sang four numbers. A2C Amoroso, who is a senior recreational specialist at the service club, has a rich background in the entertainment field. He has appeared .on television and radio snows in California, Arizona and Utah. He also has made personal appearances at some of the larger hotels and night spots in Hollywood and was auditioned at War ner Brothers. He has been in the Air Force since 1052 and resides at 1145 So.
