Urubaker Development and implementation of the work measurement system within the Maintenance Directorate is now definitely underway. This project will be patterned after a successful service test project at Sacramento Air Materiel Area, McClellan At is, conducted under the guidance of industrial engineers ' from the firm of Ernst and Ernst. Representatives from the Methods and Standards Branch of the Industrial Engineering Division who are attending Special Work Measurement Technician Training Courses will be visiting the work areas in the near future to observe the methods and to obtain existing first-han- d knowledge on the scene. These men will be obtaining the views of the workers at frequent intervals as they finalize methods and establish reasonably attainable time allowances for completing work.
