Ronnfeldt is shown with a picture he received as a thank you token for an honest act he did last spring. One night Ronnfeldt picked up a sailor who was hitchhiking towards Salt Lake. When he got home, after letting the boy out in Layton, he discovered the sailor had dropped his wallet in his car. Noting that the wallet contained a large sum of money and valuable papers, Ronnfeldt looked for the boy, even driving to Salt Lake and to the train station in search of him. But the lad had already departed on the train. Authorities were able to trace the sailor, however, and he got in touch with Ronnfeldt and gave him his future address. Ronnfeldt then mailed the wallet. That was the last he thought of it until a few days ago when he received a package from Yokosuka, Japan. It was a thank you note from the sailor a mighty happy gob to get his wallet back and a gift. The gift was a unique picture, a landscape formed by bark, moss and water color and framed in cork.
