Turner is so sold on circus life that he has spent over four years building a circus of his own. Albert Turner, 1973 Pierce Avenue, Ogden, works in the synthetic trainer shop at Hill, Air Force Base, but many of his evenings are filled a. with all the excitement and fun of ,i.m the fair. On these nights Turner puts out his miniature circus for V neighborhood smallfry to admire or carves another tiny object to add to his layout. Turner has carved each one of the circus items from wood. Each piece is carved to an Vs inch scale in Turner's display, which means that anything one foot long in actual circus equipment is just inch in length. Included in his show is the well known "big top" tent with three rings of entertainers that look like they could go right into their act. His circus is complete with a side show horse show, menagerie, and dozens of clowns. He's also got the bearded lady, the electric man, snake charmers, sword swallowers, and fire eaters;' Turner even has inch high concession stands equipped to sell candy floss, hamburgers about the size of a pencil eraser, and tiny bottles of "coke." Turner often spends almost two weeks spare time making a single item. Every detail is complete. Doors on the inch high animal cages swing to and fro, all wheels turn, O DOLLS on the flood car show powerlights $3.95 to $13.95 ful beams, and everything shines brightly in genuine circus color. When neighbor kiddies come in to see his circus, and Turner sees the gleam in their eyes, he knows it was worth every one of the 2500 hours he has spent carving out the miniature display.
