Latham, a supervisor in the vehicle and motorized equipment repair section, maintenance division. . Latham was discharged from the army under age regulations early last year and has been working here as a civilian since March, 1943. Prior to that he was a member of one of the military organizations here for several months. As his contribution to the war bond drive he subscribes to a war bond every pay day or $100 worth a month. This deduction equals nearly one-thiof his salary, said John Evenson, minuteman for vehicle and motorized equipment repair. So far, he said, the section has reached nearly half of its cash sales quota. Only about 21 per cent have made cash purchases so Services, 11:30 a.m. Whist Tournament, If.
