Harris reDresentine the San Francisco office of Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at a special meeting, at Hill Field. This is the same organization which insures the deposits in au names. Ben P. Mrs. Clare Kenyon who lives at Civilian Barracks number 542, room 27, recently received a Mothers' day gift, a shopping bae. from her son. Kenneth Kenyon, who is with the allied forces in North Africa. It is a heavy soft leather bae of Dale cream color, of simple design but inn in appearance, Kenneth was a member of the Commando raid at Dieppe, France in August, 1942, where so any men were lost in an experimental land ing to test the Commando methods of invasion. ... At Weber college, Marian was both a team manager and the intramural manager. She won the block "W" award for outstanding contributions to women's athletics, Since in ordinary years, approxi mately five block W's are awarded, it was quite a feather in the young ladys cap to earn this. She was, during this year, a member of the first group which composed and presented a modern dance recital, Miss Sanders graduated from Utah State Agricultural college this June. She had a teaching fellow ship in physical education, and was recreation director for mechanic learners at Logan high school. In addition to this, Marian man aged to play guard on the Varsity basketball team at the A. C; won the A award for sports activities: was a feature writer of a women's sports column on the school paper; a member of the committee for entertainment of service men and was a member of the group known as Associated Women Students. Oh, yes!
