Harold Bamford andsomeHiram Matthewson will leave time late next week to match pins with the top Air Force clubs in this area. Led by Mahoney, man of the five, and third place State round robin winner, the quintet will present a formidable array boasting an overall team average of nearly 900 pins. Along with Mahoney's 185, Lt. Ool. Reid and Sgt. Matthewson sport 180 averages and Lt. Hake and Sgt. Bamford check in with 174 and 173 respectively. Although Lt. Col. Reid, a native of Syracuse, New York, carries only a 180 for the season, he has averaged slightly over 190 during the past month. Lt. Hake, who hails from Hollywood, California, is one of the strongest members of the Mustang Squad in the Hill Air Force Base league in Ogden. Harold Bamford from Brainerd, Minnesota, have both improved rapidly in the past few weeks to win berths on the team.
