Representatives of have met once with two members of the LDS Stake Presidency and the town's bishop but "nothing definite has been decided," said Castle Gate Ward Bishop, John J. Thorpe. Mr. Thorpe said McCulloch and the church officials mainly talked about a site at the proposed Castle Gate subdivision west of Helper that has been set aside if the church decides it wants to relocate the building.
