The 29 Cadettes were treated to pizza by leaders. Guest at the party was Mr. Grimes of Dragerton, who sang several songs and then told the girls about meeting Lord Batan Powell, the man who helped to organize the Girl Scouts many years ago. At the meeting, the Cadettes also made 14 centerpieces using klinkers sprayed with snow depicting scenes of Santa Claus decorating Christmas trees.
