PETE CAMPEDEL Campedels 60th anniversary today A long time Helper couple two oc- are celebrating casions today (Thursday) Thanksgiving and their 60th Wedding Anniversary. Mary and Peter Cam-pedof Hill Street were married on November 22, 1913, in Price. The couple owned and el the operated Pete was born in LaValle . Agordina, Italy, and came to Bingham Canyon in 1907. In 1912, he came to Helper and started working for Louie Fossat in the grocery and bakery business. The building is the present Fossat Photo Studios, owned by Mr. Fossat's son, Mary was born in Caluso, 1923 to 1933. Italy. She came to Helper in CEU musicians California in 1933 and returned to Helpeer in 1963. Mrs. Campedel has three sisters and two brothers, all of whom live in Italy. Mr. Campedel has four sisters and one brother. One sister and brother live in France. Three of his sisters live in 1913. perform for Women's Club Several music students from the College of Eastern Utah performed for the Helper Women's Club at its last Thursday afternoon in the Helper Civic Auditorium. President Etta Diamanti presided at the opening of the meeting and welcomed regular members and their guests, Ida Jensen, Betty Basinger and Bell Carr. Arts Fine program chairman Tia Imai then CEU music introduced instructor Derral Siggard, his wife Janie and the music students. Two were numbers presented by a woodwind of composed quintet Kathleen Pulzer, Michelle Cuburu, Becky Fazzio, Bill Bartley and Mr. Siggard. David Donaldson and Paul Campbell played several Christmas songs on the trumpet. The program also featured a flute and piano solo and chamber music by Mr. and Mrs. Siggard and Miss Cuburu. Mrs. Imai also displayed several art paintings for this program entitled "The Arts". A business meeting followed. The club members voted to donate a $200 check to the Girl Scouts to help in the beautification of the Senior Citizen's Park, a community improvement project on Helper's Main Street. Collision causes $25 damage to car Manson Edwin Huff of Helper on November 2 backed out his vehicle and collided with an auto belonging to Matt and of Maurine Dougherty Kenilworth. Damage was estimated at Dougherty's vehicle, according to Helper police.
