Show Junior Scouts shown painting with charcoal Junior Scout Troop 439 were shown how to paint with charcoal by Mrs. Gordon Richardson at its meeting last Monday at the Spring Glen school. The Scouts are making favors for the patients at the Carbon Hospital for a Christmas project. The troop meets each Monday at the Spring Glen school, under the direction leaders Merlene Kirkwood and Jackie Harwood who are assisted by Frances Cunningham. Members of the troop are Mary Cunningham, Dotty Rebecca Blackham, Johnson, Brenda Marrelli, Belinda Marrelli, Linda Kirkwood, Diane Peck, Peggy Twehous, Trisha Sillitoe, Doris Twehous, Lisa Harvey, Carrie Lynn Johnson, Brenda Bera, Natalie Saccomanno, Shelly Harwood, Ghirar-dell- Wendy i, Black, Tammy Marianne Ockey, Trisha Olsen, Shauna Regis, Sandy Ockey, Stacy Richardson, Tanja Jicon and Ronnie Romero. All are from Helper and Spring Glen. r Beatrice Schoenberger and her sister Julie Nelson of Durango, Colo., traveled to Salt Lake to spend a few days with Anna Kontas and children Kathy and Kim. They returned on Monday and afterwards Mrs. Nelson left for her home. Mr. and Ms. George of Candor, Schoenberger N.C. are parents of their second baby girl who was born on November 10. The little lady weighed six pounds, three ounces at birth. She was named Carla Ann. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Black of North Carolina and Mrs. of Carl Schoenberger Helper. Mrs. Schoenberger reported she is now the grandmother of 18 grandchildren, nine boys and nine girls with the birth of Carla Ann. Mr. and Mrs. Mike ' Pagano attended the Senior Citizen's dinner dance held in Cleveland this past week. Here last weekend visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bottino and daughter Gina of Salt Lake. They spent time with Mr. and Mrs. Pete Bottino and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dalpiaz.
