Mr and Mrs Mel Taylor are visiting in Torrance, Caliif. with the Merlin Farrish family. Mr and Mrs Lowell Davis are vacationing in California visiting their daughter and her family. These Contract Documents may be examined and copies obtained by General Contractors after June 22, 1966, at the office of the Architects. A deposit of $25. per set will be refunded upon return of such copies in good condition within seven calendar days after the bids are opened. Deposit shall be forfeited if documents are retained beyond four (4) calendar days prior to bidding and a bid is not submitted. Proposals shall be made on a form included in Specifications as obtained at the office of the Architect and shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Cer tified Check in the amount of 5 of Base Bid amount, this amount to be forfeited if the bid accompanying it is accepted and the bidder then fails to enter into the contract or to furnish a bond as required by the Owner in accordance with the General Conditions of the Contract. Each proposal with Bid Bond or Certified Check shall be sealed and filed with the clerk of said School Board on or before June 30, 1966. Bids will be received by the Clerk of the School Board at the Carbon School District Board of Education office, 333 East 1st South, Price, Utah, up until 8:00 p.m. of the bid date. At this time, proposals will be publicly open ed and read. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond and a com pletion bond, each in the amount equal to one hundred per-ce(100) of the contract price. Work shall be completed with in the time allotted in instructions to Bidders. Liquidated damages shall be assessed for each calendar day over the allotted time in the amount stipulated in the Instructions to Bidders.
