I Notes of Interest from Neighboring SPRING GLEN By GAYLE ROWLEY, Tel 399-R1- 1 4 The faculty, students, and par- -, ents of Spring Glen would like to express their appreciation to the Helper lions club for their generous gift of children's books which were presented to the j Spring Glen school last week, The bocks chosen by this group were those which were adapted to the reading level and interest oi me children. The books are very attractive and durable and will last many years. At A meeting on March. 21 Mr. Willis Johnson, principal, expressed the appreciation felt by the citizens of Spring Glen. Mr. Johnson also announced that each 'book will be inscribed, ex pressing thanks to the Lions club for this donation. At the Present time the Spring Glen school is in the process of building up a good library. This year they have constructed and doubled the amount of book shelves that they had previously. This summer with the help of the Helper librarian, there will be a complete reorganization and cataloging of all the books.
