Included on the program were talks and musical selections from members of the ward, a talk by Miss Trauntvein, and remarks from her faAlso ther, Henry Trauntvein. by the audience were two solos sung by Calvin Jewkes. Arvill Johansen and Blaine Morgan won trips to the state fair for their entomology demonstration given last week at the county exhibit. They will repeat the demonstration four times before various organizations to perfect tchnique before the final exhibition at the fair. The Shellmakers had two meet ings last week. The first held Wednesday at the Morgan home was devoted to planning for winter activities and drawing up a schedule for future meetings Saturday the group gathered at the Ferderber home to order more shells, clips, glue and other necessary materials. Mrs. Ferderber served cookies, punch and candy. Monday, the election of officers placed Jeanille Zulbeck in the office of President; Carolyn Ojordon, Secretary; Kaila Hanson, Treasurer; Connie Ro bertson, Reporter, and Judy Rud-ma- n, song-lead- er. Dr. and Mrs. Roy Robinson were in Wyoming for three days j last week while the doctor at- -i tended Grand Lodge meetings at Cheyenne. Mrs. Robinson spent most of her time visiting relatives in Laramie. Newcomers in town are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Marshall and three children, Kathleen, Jackie and Mary. Kathleen will be riding the bus to Helper Junior High, while Jackie with be a fourth grade student in our elementary school. Mr. Marshall is shop foreman. Victor Rudman has been promoted to the rank of Airman Second Class, according to the latest communique from him. He is working as medical administrator in the Parks Air Force Base, California. , Our globetrotter, Grace Christensen, is now on the last lap of the journey taken by the BYU World Wide Study Tour. Her plane is scheduled to land at Salt Lake Airport Friday morning at 8 o'clock. Her husband and daughter, Darlene Robison, will be there for the joyful reunion. Gloria Ferderber will take a plane from Yakima, Washington, to Salt Lake' City (where, her folks will be waiting) on the 10th of September. Gloria has worked full-tiali summer at busher uncle's iness at Zillah, Wash. In a letter to her mother, Gloria reports that she is now the fastest packer on the place. David has been living the life of a farmer with his grand parents, at Hagerman, Idaho;- He raised a prize sheep as part of his work. His grandparents were expected to bring David home sometime this week. Diane went to Provo to help an aunt with her children and later ac companied the family to a new residence in Spokane, Wash.
