In each instance the attendance has been gratifying to the officers of the local ball club, and also popular with the fans. Also during the season several of the Koal league teams have played night games in Helper, and a few ex- -' hibition contests have been sched tied by the Distributors team. It's true the advent of night baseball here was an expensive undertaking, and playing night ball costs a bit more than using nature's sunshine, but the coolness of the summer evenings is something to consider. But, in my opinion, neither of these is the strongest for night argument baseball. I'd say the number of People from all over the county ho have poured into Helper all summer to see the games ts the biggest asset to the program.
