The little red flowers will pay tribute to those men who have died for their country in the present war and to those who fell 27 years ago in France and Belgium among the sway ing poppies. The money that is received for the flowers will be used to aid the afflicted veterans of both wars and their families. Extensive preparations for the observance of Poppy Day are being made by the Helper group under the leadership of Mrs Crissman and Mrs Hazel Edwards unit Poppy chairman. Everyone in the city will be able to buy the flowers of remembrance from the many volunteer workers from the Auxiliary who will be on the streets all through the day. The flowers are made of crepe paper on the pattern of the wild poppy of Flanders.
