Such a talc was told this week by Jack Vignetto, cashier of the Helper State Bank. It seems that a customer of the bank breezed into the bank out of breath. "I've been short changed," he said. "You've given me a lot less than I was supposed to have received." And then he went on to say that upon counting his money he had found himself short. John Huff, also in the bank at the time, walked up to the dissatisfied customer and extended a handful of paper money. "Is this yours?" he politely asked. Sure enough, the money which Mr. Huff had found on the floor of the bank and so honestly ieuiriieu totalled me exact amount the customer had found himself missing. In FOR SALE OLDS TRUMPET. But merchants and poten tial patrons of Helper's business firms can rest assured that when the announcement Is made, if will be gratifying to them as well as a definite stimulus to main street in Helper. It's quite possible that the "Fall Festival," which was successfully carried out last November will again be tried sometime during the same month this year. It was pointed out by Mr. Miner that the organization would need finances to conclude a Christmas lighting program started last year, and this idea was about the easiest way of raising funds without making a direct assessment on the merchant. No definite action or conclusion was reached at Tuesday's meeting. President Miner urged all members who were not present last Tuesday to attend their next meeting. 86 proof Gibson Distilling Co.
