To Entertain Crowd j Beginning tomorrow, Friday morning, there remains only five days for car owners to get their license plates through the locaj office, if they wish to avoid the penalty, Ernest Holt, office manage? announced yesterday. Mr. Holt stated, and license plates will still be sold but are subject to the penalty charge after February 28. Any time after March 2nd, employes of the Tax Commission office will assist individuals jn filing their state income tax returns. As an outcome of a Price delegation protesting the removal of the commission office from Price to Helper, a compromise has been announc e,i by members of the tax commission, and a branch office will be opened in the Price auditorium next Monday, February 2i, and like the Helper office, will be open daily until March loth. After this date. Mr. Holt informed the Journal, each office will be open one day each week, Fridays at Price and Saturdays in Helper. e JAN.
