' - - f Mr. Lewis, manager of the local Strand Theatre, received confirmation of the booking last night of the Great Delmar, world famous hypnotist and escape artist, lo appear ou the stage of the Strand on Friday and Saturday of this week, Sept. 16 and 17. The management of the Strand was very fortunate In securing this great act and due to this fact was forced to take a close booking. Delmar has baffled police experts all over the world. As an attraction not to be missed, Delmar invites pa trons to bring their own handcuffs, locks, etc., if they so wish and de fies anyone to shackle him so he cannot escape. SITE FOR LEGION HOME TO BE DISCUSSED AT MEET The next meeting of the American Legion will be held Monday evening, when the building site committee will make a report, recommendations and suggestions for the site of the Am erican Legion Home. On the committee are Fred Voll, Glen Balllnger, and M.
