The Daily Sentinel newspaper was high in their praise of the county band, and we quote herewith an article written by the daily: "The Carbon county high school band of Price, Utah, was highly praised last night at the Governor's banquet, for the program the students gave was exceptional and was one of the best programs that local people have ever had an opportunity to hear a high echool band give. E. M. Wiljiams, director of the band for several years, deserves a great deal of commendation for the creditable work he has done with this band. , "Two years ago, the Carbon band came here for the annual band tournament at the invitation of the western elope bands. The Carbon band won first place in the contests and also in the parade. It is one of the best high school music organizations in a large area. "Residents of Price brought the band here in private car when it" appeared that the finances for Price's part of the celebration were short. The band to was brought here especially play at the banquet last night. "Toastmaster Walter Walker paid a very high tribute to Mr. Williams and to the band. Monday night at 8 o'clock is the fateful hour. One should not rest. One should not hesitate. If there wae ever a time worth real money to you, it is the time between now and Monday night. Consider again seriously the value of the three biggest prizes runs into thousands of dollars. And the next awards after the big cars, purses of gold and silver CASH. Think what that means to you. You can well afford to devote every wakeful moment between now and Monday to your campaign. You can make up to $1445 in the next four days. Take FULL advantage of the present big vote schedule. Big Subscription Factor It'a the big subscriptions that count most votes. By getting a few of these it is possible for any candidate to WIN A CAR by 8 o'clock Monday night. The race so far is slow and close. This is what you might call OPPORTUNITY. Campaign headquarters will be open every night until 8o'clock to receive subscriptions on the offer. All subscriptions, however, mailed in any postofice anywhere before 8 o'clock Monday night will count on the big offer even though they do not reach campaign headquarters until Tuesday or Wednesday. Don't Dilly Dally This is no time to dijly dally. Thie is time for action. This is the time to win the prize of your chocie, If you are ever going to do anything BIG, do it now. Don't waste a minute. Get so interested that you think "win" in your sleep it won't hurt you and it will make you carry on. You must have it in your head if you are to win. You've got to go and get what you want. Fluffing or the spreading of false rumors by candidates in an effort to discourage or bluff another candidate will not be tolerant and any found guilty of this practice will be disqualified at the discretion of the management. Some of the stories put out to date are eo ridiculous and unbelievable that they should be nail ed immediately. The Times and the campaign management is going to see that such tactics are not used. New Candidates Can Win An absolutely new candidate can, by going to it in a biir way right now, establish himself or herself in the vote score to an extent that consistent effort will win. Remember that the biggest vote offer to this short election comes to a close at 8 o'clock Monday night, October 5. Just a few more circuits of the big hand and the opportunity of getting big votes is gone. In fact the vote schedule after Monday will be reduced and two more material reductions will occur. Monday is the big day eight o'clock is the final hour of the big vote schedule. It's going to be a mighty important time for the candidates who expect to be the big prize winners. And the way to get the prize you have set your mind on is to secure the largest number of votes subscriptions you obtain during the first period count the greatest number of votes. Get the subscriptions they are the biggest vote value. But don't pass up any one-yeeither. They all subscriptions count and count big these closing hours of the big votes. Make a thorough canvass of your friends and acquaintances for a big period finish a winning . finish. ; six-ye- ar ar O Kate Happe has completed her beauty culture course at Salt Lake City and returned Mrs. home Saturday.
