My Commission exirea August 5, 1934 SEAL No Hit No Run Conference Opens Victory Opens Superintendents and principals of schools from all parts of the state of Utah will gather at the University of Utah, April 2, 3 and 4 for the annual conference of Utah Educational Administrators. The conference Is held annually under the auspices of the University and the State department of education. All meetings will be held In Kingsbury Hall, university campus. Dr. M. E. Haggerty, Dean of the School of Education, University of Michigan and Dr. W. W. Charters, Director, Bureau of Educational Research, Ohio state university, and editor of the "Journal of Higher Education" and will be the guest speaker special visitors at the conference. They are among the most distinguished men in the field of adeducation and educational ministration. Sessions for superintendents and principals will be held Thursday afternoon and mornings and afternoons during the nthnr two days of the confer-- . ence. Thursday evening and late Friday afternoon there win De at which the tinhlin meatines visiting educatora will speak. Visiting superintendents, college presidents and University faculty members will preside over the various meetings. o HOT Country Clubmen Elect Officers Matt Gilmour of Price was elected president of the Carbon county country club at annual elections held Friday evening. The entire roster of retiring of- f icers were voted to serve an- -. other year, however, Joe Johnson, declined from the office of secretary, and George Warren of Price was elected to fill the office.
