Members of the department who perform specific jobs on a fire call will do additional research before presenting a demonstration and training film to the other men. Mr. Jackson, a well known Carbon County resident, lived in Spring Glen continuously from 1924 to 1962. He worked in many of the area coal mines. A native of Tampa, Mr. Jackson had lived there 10 years. He was a member of the Nebraska Avenue Church of Christ; the Joppa A Lodge No. 26 F&AM in which he was an honorary o Old Faithful Life Member, and the Tampa Consitory Scottish Rite.
