At one discussion of the Indians, Mrs. 01 sen asked! the students to draw a picture of an Indian Cliff Dwelling, or an Indian pictograph, "which are Indian writings on recks or rock walls. Some students preferred to just draw pictures of an Indian. These pictures will be judged by Mrs. Olsen to determine the best ones which will be hung on the btfletin board. On another board some of .the have made a scene consisting of Indian men and women and tepees. Mrs. Onsen's room is going to look like an Indian village! A Band Trip by Lisa Davjs In February one of the band classes will go on a trip. Where to? They will be going to for a challenge against a Junior High band there. Mr. Ransom W. Dusiton the director, told the 7th grade band that one of the two bands will be going on Thursday nignt after school and spend the night. Paul Revere's Ride by Janice Slaugn The 8th grade class 8C, is taking history fifth period, which is taught by Mr. Cunningham. The students are studying about the British attack and Paul Revere's famous midnight ride. To make the class more interesting students wrote a story about the British attack and Paul Revere's ride using creative writing. The students are enjoying the class as well as learning so much. Christmas Means Caroling! by Lizz Bonaeci It's that time of year again when everyone buys gifts, puts d up lights and the Christmas tree. The 9th grade girls in chorus class are learning all the old favorite Christmas songs in two parts, soprano and alto. One night before Christmas the girls will go caroling. The date is yet indefinite, but if you heair them, come on out and listen. Soccer Or Tumbles by Roslyn Montoya In Mrs. Olson's 5th period gym class the girls have been divided in three groups. Becky Jewkes, Connie Anderson', and Rosliyn Montoya are the cap-- ! tarns. Each diay there are two teams on the floor playing kick soccer. The first game pliayed was Becky Jewkes' team and Roslyn Montoya's Rosiyn's team won. The next game was Becky Jewkes' team and Con nie Anderson's team, this time Becky's team won. Then Connie's and Ros'lyn's teams played with Connie's team victorious. The last game played until now was Rosiyn's and Becky's with Rosiyn's team winning.
