Take Advantage Today .... in Carbon county and also t the state as a whole have taken an enormous plunge since last week, a steady decline having been registered for the past two months. Carbon county shows only one case, that of septic sore throat. The grand total of communicable diseases reported to the State Board of Health for the week was 261 cases as compared with 409 cases for the previous week. Usually during the summer months, there is a rather abrupt drop in the number of cases of communicable diseases, due largely, no doubt, to the fact that youngsters are out of school and the possibility of contact with cases is thereby lessened. Seventeen of the twenty-nincounties in the state reported "no communicable diseases.'' Miss Rosie Mongone and Gabriel and Bennett Mongone left last week for a vacation trip to California.
