Carbon's pair of guards. Fox and Conover, played a steady game, as did Albert Passic, who was in a Miner suit for the first time this year. Coach "Tuffy" Lindford exhibited a fine balanced ball team, one which has ten men about equal. The playing of Cooper, bespeckled former Salina player, was interesting to watch. Mit. chell, a guard, was the offensive star for the B.A.C. boys in Friday's game. He not only sneaked through for in points, but was a tower of strength on defense. Davis. McDonald, Theobald and U'asden, all played steady games. After Casbon narrowed the count to two points it was either team's game until Pollock, Conover and Pugh left the game for excessive fouling. Getting away to an early lead, the Dinosaurs fought off the hoop assault of the visitors from Castle Dale to emerge victorious, although neither team showed much in the way of out. standing floor ability. Shots from the corners of the floor and from outside 0f the foul circle accounted for many of the scores. Summary: .satiiiday night by wi &i.
