Show THURSDAY, THE PAGE FOUR Creation Seen As Embodying Only Good "Unreality" lesson-sermo- is the in all In the District Court of the Seventh Judicial District in and tor Carbon County, Slate of Utah. Marjorie Jordan, plaintiff, vs. Richard Jordan, defendant. The State of Ulah to said De- subject of the Churches of Christ, Sp;enti.st. on Sunday, Oct. 2. The Scriptural selections include the following: "Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord ray God, mine Holy One? Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity." Embodied as correlatives are the following passages from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: "Since God Is All, there is no room for His unlike-ness- . God, spirit alone created all, and called it good. Therefore evil, being contrary to good, is unreal, and cannot be the product of God. Evil is a negation, because it Is the ibsence of truth. It is unreal, because it presupposes the absence of God, the omnipotent and omnipresent. Every mortal must learn that there is neither power nor reality In evil." 30 Men On Band fendant: You are hereby summoned to appear within twenty days after the service of ' this summons upon you, if served within the county in which this action is brought; otherwise, within thirty days after tervice. and defend the above entitled action; and in case of your failure so to do judgment will be rendered against you according to the demand of the complanit which has been filed with the Clerk of said Court. This complaint is brought for the purpose of obtaining a divorce and dissolving the marriage contract now existing between the plaintiff and defendant. EDWARD SHEYA, Attorney for Plaintiff. According to a letter received by the Helper Journal from Scattergood Baines, of the Wrigley Spearmint Gum company of Chicago, this city is going to be signally honored on Octouer 10 with a national broadcast advertising Helper city and the retail storekeepers. . The letter stated that on October 10th, at just one minute before 1:30 p.m., over the Columbia network via station KSL at Salt Lake City, Mr. Baines would pay tribute to our city. The broadcast made possible by the Retail. Storekeepers, association, of which Helper has several members and their cooperation should be appreciated and remembered by every resident in this section. Mr. Baines stated in his letter that he wants this tribute to to be as fine as possible, and asked the Journal to submit any Information about our community that would add color to the salute. In answer to this request the Journal sent all available information that could be gathered concerning the activities of our city and the many fine improvements made here during the past several years. Therefore, we can expect a fine tribute to be paid to our city. Remember the date, Monday, October 10 at 1:30 p.m. The reason for this distinction is because of the splendid and hard work on the part of our s retail merchants. STUDENTS CAN HAVE JOURNAL SENT .
