All of us are desirous of seeing Helper progress and prosper. The only possible wy this desire can be accomplished is by a concentrated effort of every citizen within our city. By spending your Christmas dollars in Helper, you are giving .this cooperation to the merchants whose dollars go into the community coffers in some manner or other. Rent, taxes, and contributions are some of the most common ways the merchant spends his money. The effect and results to our city and county are obvious. The point is merely used in illustration of the fact that it is a sort of custom to overlook these less serious infractions with the result that our accident score this type. The tendency of the public in ' general to overlook minor of our laws, and parfor safety, ticularly our laws leads to many accidents on the streets of ovrt- - cities and towns. In Helper, for example, we have a rather narrow main street; parafter shoppers arrive ticularly in town and park along both sides of it.
