Under the firm gavel of President John L. Lewis, more than 2,000 delegates will appear at the 33d consecutive constitutional convention of the United Mine Work ers of America, which opens in Indianapolis January 23. It ex pected the convention will be in session a week or 10 days. Clarifaction of the operation of the national recovery act as it pertains to the coal industry will be the most important topic for dis cussion, officials said today. Tayo, age 67, passed away Monday, after a long illness; Sam Garrett, age 68, resident of Price for 15 years, died Monday; Mrs. Alfred E. Hadden, age 48, died Saturday, Jan. 13. MOVED TO SALT LAKE Mr. and Mrs. Bob Connors and daughter left Monday for Salt Lake, where they will make their future home. Mr. Connors has secured employment in the capital city. PRICE GIRL SINGS Miss. Lulu Christensen, of Price, singing under the name of Joyce Palmer, was featur ed in the Chevrolet Stock Show held in Salt Lake this week.
