Field workers of the United States department of labor and the United States department of agriculture are to gather and report price figures, while the Washington agencies tabulate and analyze them, according to information received by Director William Peterson from Dr. Fredric C. Howe, consumers' counsel for the agricultural administration. Doctor Howe intends to release the information on prices through the press, radio, and special reports to groups and individuals.
