Show Honky Tonk Hf E I (Editorial) For some time past reports have been coming to The Journal of an alleged disgraceful dance conducted Wednesday and Saturday nights in the roller rink on the southern outskirts of Helper, Reports of alleged drunkenness, purported sale of liquor, fighting, and indiscriminate petting in the parked automobiles are but a portion of the allegations brought to this office. Inasmuch as this dance hall has been dubbed the "honky tonk" and these reports of improper activities persist, The Journal believes it should be investigated by the proper authorities and either given a clean rating or permanently closed. The hall, it is understood, lies outside the city limits of Helper.
