Show Mrs. J. M. Knighton Heads Organization Mrs. J. M. Knighton, prominent r. educational and social work of thi? city, was the choice for president of j the Gunnison Tarent-Teacher associa j tion at the annual election held I Thursday evening of last week at the j Washington grade school building : Mrs. J. S. Bartholomew, active in ! ychool work, was named as vice-presi-I dent; Mrs. Charlotte Villard, secretary. secre-tary. The executive committee com-! com-! prises Principals L. D. Bardsley and I John E. Metcalf, of the high school and grade school, respectively. A goodly number of representative citizens, interested in the full cooperation cooper-ation between teacher and parent, were present at Thursday's meeting. Chas. E. Ferre, retiring president, had charge of the meeting. |
