FOR SEPTEMBER BRIDE. Mrs. N. L. Hermansen was a charming hostess at a miscellaneous shower Tuesday afternoon from one-thirty one-thirty to five, complimentary to Mrs. Ray Hermansen, a bride of last week. Thirty-six guests were present and at one-thirty a tempting hot luncheon was served at small tables, each table carrying sprigs of sweetpeas and snapdragons as decorative features. Following the luncheon the guests enjoyed en-joyed progressive bridge until nearly five, when the honored guest displayed display-ed her gifts, which were many and beautiful. Mrs. Hermansen, as hostess, hos-tess, was assisted in serving and entertaining en-tertaining by her daughters, Mrs. L. R. Buchanan and Miss Phyllis Hermansen.
