Show Popular Couple Married at Provo The marriage of Ray L. Herman-sen, Herman-sen, prominent young business man of Gunnison, and eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Hermansen, to- Miss Mary Fjeldsted, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fjeldsted of Center-field, Center-field, which was solemnized at Provo Wednesday morning of last week, came as a pleasant surprise to the many warm friends of the young couple. cou-ple. Accompanied by the parents of Mr. Hermansen and Miss Fjeldsted, the group motored to Provo. where the ' ntarriage ties were spoken by Elder C. A. Grant, county clerk of Utah county. Immediately after the marriage ceremonies the newlyweds. with their parents, returned to 'Gunnison, and the home of the bridle's parents was the scene of a happy wedding supper, served at five o'clock. ' Only immediate imme-diate members of the two families were present at the wedding eupper. At 8 o!clock a wedding reception was held at the Centerfield meeting house, and some 200 were present. Dancing and dainty refreshments were enjoyed enjoy-ed and the bride and groom were the recipients of many congratulations and wishes for a, happy ana', prosperous prosper-ous married life. Mrs. Hermansen, who graduated from the Gunnison Valley high school with the class of 1931, is popular and well known in the valley. Mr. Hermansen, Her-mansen, after graduating from the Gunnison Valley high school with the class of 1930, spent two years at the University of Utah, taking a course in pre-medics. For the past two years he has been assisting his father, N. L. Hermansen-, in operating the Hermansen Her-mansen Roller Mills & Elevator. Mr. and Mrs. Hermansen will make their home in Gunnison, and will be at home to their friends at their new home after October 1st. |
