Show Well Known Couple Married Wednesday Miss Elva Foote, popular daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Foote, and Ray G. Swallow, prominent farmer and stockman of Mayfield, were married mar-ried at Richfield at high noon Wednesday Wed-nesday of last week. Wendell Anderson, Ander-son, county clerk of Sevier county, officiated at the ceremony. Soon after af-ter the marriage was performed the newlyweds went to Mayfield, where an informal reception was tendered them. Mrs. Swallow is ' a native of Gun-, Gun-, nison, and through her business associations as-sociations with the Gunnison Telephone Tele-phone company for a period of twelve years became widely known for her charming personalities, and her friends are numbered by the hundreds. hun-dreds. Soon after completing her education edu-cation by graduating from the Gunnison Gun-nison Valley high school, she entered the telephone service as an operator. A few years later she was promoted to chief operator, which position she held until her resignation December 31st. Mr. Swallow, who has resided in Mayfield for the past 19 years, was born at Shoshone, Nev. Since going to Mayfield, he has been active in farming and stockraising.
