Show family Attends Ephraim Funeral Mrs. Sarah Jane Allred Hermansen, wife of Lawrence Hermansen, a resident resi-dent of Gunnison some twelve years ago, died at her home in Ephraim-early Ephraim-early Wednesday morning of last week. The cause of the death of Mrs. Hermansen was given as an attack of diptheria, acute gall bladder infection, and chronic valvular heart trouble. Due to the danger of spreading the disease of diptheria, an outdoor funeral fun-eral was held, with hundreds of friends and relatives gathering at the OlsenJ Mortuary funeral home for the last sad tribute. N. L. Hermansen, a brother to the heart-broken husband, Mrs. Hermansen, Mrs. L. R. Buchan-an, Buchan-an, Miss Phyllis, Ray and Ronald Hermansen of this city, attended the funeral services which were held at Ephraim Friday afternoon. Mrs. Hermansen was born in Fountain Foun-tain Green, July 4, 1898, a daughter of Charles E. and Ruth Longson All-red. All-red. Her mother died 26 years ago, and she lived in Fountain Green until she was married to Mr. Hermansen, April 28, 1920, after which she moved mov-ed to Ephraim and had resided here since, where Mr. Hermansen has been manager of the Ephraim Milling and Elevator company. Besides her husband, Mrs. Herman-sen Herman-sen is survived by a son and daughter, daugh-ter, Merrill, 11, and Ruth, 8; also by her father and step-mother of Fountain Foun-tain Green; three brothers, Herbert, Perry and Edward Allred of Fountain Green, and one sister, Mrs. Loren Rees, of Wales. |
