Show Local Lions Club Chooses Officers Officers to serve for the coming year for the Gunnison Lions club, were named at the regular luncheon meeting held at the Wistaria cafe Wednesday of last week. The choice of the club members for president was C. E. Andersen, assistant cash- -ier for the Gunnison Valley bank. Dr. J. A. Hagan was the unanimous choke for the office of vice-president and Grant Chidester was elected secretary-treasurer. Mark M. Duggins was chosen as Lion Tamer, while C. M. Edwards will serve in the capacity of Tail Twister. In addition to the officers, Ira Overfelt, A. M. Peterson, L. H. Johnson and Martin Peterson will serve as members of the boatV of governors for the local club. The newly elected officers will be Inducted Induct-ed at one of the meetings to be held the early part of July. More than the usual enthusiasm was shown at the annual election of officers.
