Show BUYS 40-ACRE TRACT. Albert Ch.ristensen, who recently disposed of his farm, this week concluded con-cluded a deal whereby he becomes the owner of a 40-acre tract in the new drainage district. The purchase was made from H. A. Kearns and the tract is some of the land that in the early days was famed throughout the west as the best producer of wheat. Through constant irrigation, though, the producing qualities of the land were reduced. When the drainage system is completed the land just purchased by Mr. Christenson will again be brought back to the productive produc-tive state. Mr. Kearns is negotiating negotiat-ing a sale of some 400 acres of the land in the new drainage district to a member of the Utah State National bank. |
