The theme this year was “Changes.” Seventy-seven students were promoted and recommended to continue their education at the high school level. Girls team up to fight cancer Mark Henline/Gunnison Valley Gazette Millie Hammond and her Relay for Life team, Blonde Blaze, held a fund raiser on the last day of school to help fight cancer. Students and faculty who wished to wear hats and flip flops to school paid fifty cents for the opportunity. Hats and flip flops are usually against the rules at GVMS. There was good participation in this activity and the fund raiser was a success.
