Show CLARION NEWS. The Jewish Agricultural and Colonial Colon-ial association held its regular election elec-tion last Saturday evening, electing as a board of directors and officers the following: A. Wernick, president; A. Shein, vice president; A. Schwartz, secretary. Benj, Brown, who has been acting as president of the association as-sociation since its inception has resigned re-signed and will turn his attention to further colonization work in this state. He will be retained as manager during his stay at the colony A postofflce has been established at Clarion, with A. Shein as postmaster. Mr. Shein expects to have everything in readiness to open the office some time next week. Clarion has selected a local board of education composed of A. Wernick. A. Shein and A. Schwartz -to look after school matters at the colony. Hay cutting has commenced in earnest, but the crop is thin owing to late frosts. The wheat and oats look promising all over the colony and the outlook for a good liarvest gives encouragement. |
